What is the difference between rod A and rod B. How can I tell the difference ?

The difference between rod A and rod B is determined by the alignment tabs. "A" Rods will have alignments tabs in-line with the cap and rod. "B" Rods will have off-set alignment tabs. Take a look at the product photos and you will see one that shows examples of "A" and "B" rods.
