PPE’s Stage 5 Allison kit upgrades the C1–C4 clutch packs, but does not include a dedicated C5 pack because the C5 clutches are generally not a common failure point at the power levels this kit is rated for (around 1,200 hp at the crank). In most builds, C5 lives a much easier life than the apply packs that see the bulk of the torque, so PPE focuses the kit (and price) on the clutches that actually tend to slip or burn—while leaving C5 to be inspected and replaced only if it shows wear during the rebuild.
