This valve body isn’t just a cleaned‑up stock core; ATS reworks the hydraulic circuits and hardware to increase line pressure and firm up clutch apply so the 545RFE lives longer behind more power.
They modify the valve body calibration to improve shift timing, reduce slip, and hold gears more positively under load, which gives you crisper shifts and better clutch holding capacity compared to a factory valve body.
