It works like a simple alignment bar that ties the primary and secondary clutches together so you can square everything up before tightening the mounts.
You bolt the tool in place across the two clutches per SuperATV’s instructions, adjust the engine/trans mounts or clutch brackets until the bar slides on and off smoothly and sits flat, then tighten everything down—once the tool comes off, the clutches are in proper alignment and you reinstall the belt and covers.
