Rough Country doesn’t publish the exact rear U‑bolt dimensions for kit 415.2, but the kit is built to fit the stock rear axle that came in a ’77.5–79 F‑250 Lowboy, which is a Dana 60 rear, not a Dana 70.
Because a Dana 70 tube is typically larger in diameter than the original Lowboy rear axle, the supplied U‑bolts are very unlikely to fit correctly around a Dana 70 housing. For a truck that has been swapped to a Dana 70, you should plan on ordering custom rear U‑bolts sized to your axle tube diameter and length, and using them with the lift blocks and plates from the kit.
