Hello im rebuilding my lml duramax. I have a few engine building questions MAHLE Clevite Complete Engine Overhaul Kit for Chevy/GMC (2011-16) 6.6L Duramax LML (VIN Code 8 or L)

The block is good with good honing marks. I'm really wanting to keep this budget friendly. It does have a hot tune thst will be kept turned down till fully built. When I tear this motor down and rebuild it with just replacing pistons is it OK to just replace the pistons and pins. Or should I send it off and get it balanced. I've though about weighing the rods and pistons and putting the lightest piston to the heaviest rod and vise versa. What is the factory tolarence or do it matter. I'd like to to be reliable for atleast 40k miles or more until I tear it down to build it. Please advise
